My feeling is, if I spend a few hours cooking up a big impressive meal (hey even if I spend twenty minutes throwing something together!) I shouldn't have to do the dishes. That job goes to the lucky people who ate the meal with me. The cook shouldn't have to be the cleaner too! I put these two well-fed boys to work on the dishes after dinner, and I even let them borrow a few aprons. Don't they look excited?
